The federal government has decided to take legal action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders for speeches made during their rally in Sangjani.
According to media, the government has decided to take action against the speeches made at the PTI rally held in Sangjani, Islamabad, on September 8. Sedition cases will be filed against the leaders who made the speeches.

Sources indicate that the government, through the Ministry of Law, has decided to file the sedition case under Section 196 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
This section is non-bailable, and police do not require warrants for arrests under it.
Sources also mentioned that both the Ministry of Law and the Federal Prosecutor General have approved the decision to file the sedition case.
Following this, the federal cabinet will grant approval, after which a formal complaint will be lodged against the PTI leadership.
