Famous Video-sharing platform TikTok updated its Community Guidelines and issued Enforcement Report for the first quarter of the 2024, revealing that the company took strtict action against more than 20 million videos.
According to report the platform took action against 20,207,878 videos in Pakistan for breaching its Community Guidelines. Not only this but, the report revealed that Video-sharing platform removed 166,997,307 videos worldwide which amounts to 0.9% of the total videos uploaded on the platform.
Additionally, 976,479,946 comments were removed and filtered using comment safety tools during this three-month period.
TikTok also reported significant action against underage users, deleting 21.63 million accounts of children under 13 to comply with global child safety regulations and its own policies.
It is to be noted that Tiktok uses Advanced automated systems and algorithim for reviewing, detecting and removing the content uploaded on it and subject it to due action that violates its guidelines.
